Meet Lourdes Carvajal – Therapist at CG Therapies

Helen Harrington, MSW, LSW
Helen Harrington (she/they) is a licensed, master’s level social worker who approaches therapy as a collaborative journey that moves at the speed of trust. Helen completed Smith College’s graduate clinical social work program in 2026, with internships in outpatient therapy and state-level youth mental health services. Previously, she worked as a learning specialist with neurodivergent youth and their families.
Helen’s work draws on relational psychodynamic therapy, liberation psychology, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and trauma recovery models. Therapy with Helen is a grounded space to explore how you relate: to your body, your emotions, and your stories; to your loved ones and neighbors, your work and your rest; to societal structures and to the earth. Helen has supported folks processing experiences of incarceration, complicated family dynamics, loneliness, immigration, sexual trauma, loss and grief, and life transitions. She also works with religious/spiritual meaning-making and trauma (particularly within Christianity), and has completed training in gender-affirming care.
While tending to wounds can be a vital aspect of therapy, Helen strives to also honor personal and cultural strengths at every step. They see creativity as key to reimagining patterns, and welcome music, visual art, and play in working with clients of all ages.
